Wilkat® Élan Eléganté Bass With Bolt-On Neck

Here's the Wilkat Élan Bass with bolt-on maple / purple heart neck. As with the neck-thru-body version, the tone is superb as a result of two carefully placed EMG Select humbucking pick-ups, two volume controls, one tone control, and the inclusion of a Schaller1bridge and a Tusq nut.

Bass players will appreciate the full access 24 fret 34" scale length, and the feel and sound of the high quality rosewood fingerboard. The neck is extremely stable due to the purple heart hard wood reinforcing, and a two-way adjustable truss rod.

The machine heads are gold plated Gotoh Compact, 20 : 1 for smooth, quick, and reliable tuning. Control knobs are available in gold plated finish or black, and other options are available upon request. Standard neck finish is satin hand oiled, and clear high gloss polyurethane for the body and face of head stock.

The Wilkat Élan Bass, is beautifully balanced, and a pleasure to play. The selected butternut-maple-purple heart body delivers punchy bass tones, and crisp treble if desired. You can also order the Élan bass with your choice of pick-ups, bridge, etc.
