This lovely custom guitar body was made for Richard Duperron and features construction of ash (top) butternut, maple, and purple heart (back), separated by an interlayer of American Walnut. The neck is maple with a Morado finger board and jumbo frets. Control knobs are Ebony wood. The body design is based upon the Wilkat MSS headless model, but it is fitted with a standard bridge.

The Danish oiled finish provides a satiny smooth soft luster that brings out the beauty of any wood grain, and provides protection and appealing good looks. The back also features a cavity control cover made from butternut, proving much nicer than plastic ones!
The weight of this instrument is light and well balanced by the combination of the woods selected, and results in an extremely comfortable guitar with super sustain and tone, and feel.
This guitar features a hard tail bridge with through body string mounting, and standard machine heads for tuning, along with a synthetic Tusq nut. The head stock is laminated with Bird's eye maple on top of a layer of American Walnut, and the backside also has a walnut veneer lamination.
Straight string pull is provided with this headstock design, which eliminates binding at the nut during string bending.
